An extremely rich Vanilla oil, called a 'Total' extract, CO2-distilled from vanilla bean pods grown in India. This oil has a very high vanillin content of 26.5% - an average oil having around 5% - a little will go a long way! Vanilla is often used in blends to add smoothness, or 'round out' the mix.

Vanilla means memories of childhood with the intensity of seemingly everlasting moments of joy. The dense, slightly spicy and exotic sweetness linked to some bitter background notes and the earthy and full presence of the taste of Vanilla is only equalized by chocolate, another famous temptation from the heat flooded lands of the South.

Thanks to its dominating phenyl esters and other enticing compounds, Vanilla is a feast for the nose and palate. In its natural form it may be a tasty enrichment of many deserts, esp. those that contain milk or yogurt.
