Pure Pine oil, steam distilled from the needles of Scotch pine trees grown in Austria. Of the many species of pine, this sylvestris is the most commonly used in aromatherapy applications.

Pine Needle essential oil was investigated by Hippocrates, considered the father of Western medicine, for it's beneficial effects on the resperatory system. The oil has been noted for it's anti-septic properties - Native Americans stuffed bedding with pine needles to repel lice and fleas.

Pine has been used for sore joints and muscles, and shares many of the same properties of Eucalytpus Globulus; blending these oils together is said to enhance the effectiveness of both.

This certified organic oil has a wonderful earthy and forest-like aroma. The influence is thought to ease mental stress and anxiety, remove unwanted odors, and revitalize the mind and body.
