Jojoba oil comes from the beans of the shrub like plant, simmondsia chinensis. This is the highest grade certified organic, cold pressed oil (actually considered a liquid plant wax). It is bright and golden in color and is regarded as the most favored in the carrier oil family because of its advanced molecular stability. Our Rose and Jasmine oils are available at 10% dilutions in Jojoba oil. Also makes a great scalp cleanser for the hair, and is equally wonderful for the skin because it has absorption properties that are similar to our skins own oils.

Pure jojoba serves as an excellent moisturizer by itself, and is often included in dry-skin blends. It leaves a pleasant, non-oily feel on the skin while reducing water loss. It also contains a high level of tocoperols - similar to Vitamin E, which may have antioxidant propeties. Jojoba is rapidly absorbed into the skin through the pores and hair folicles - though because of its moleclar configuration does not block them.

Notes- Jojoba oil becomes cloudy as temperature drops, this is a normal process that occurs from hardening of the fats. Because Jojoba is not an oil, but rather a wax, its shelf life and stability and considerably higher then most oils.
