Jojoba oil is a liquid wax produced in the seed of the jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) plant, a shrub native to southern Arizona, southern California and northwestern Mexico. The oil makes up approximately 50% of the jojoba seed by weight.
This is a high grade, 'golden' Jojoba, a cold pressed and unrefined oil. It is a bright golden color and one of the most favored carrier oils because of its advanced molecular stability, lack of aroma and easy absorption into the skin.
It makes a great scalp cleanser for the hair, and is equally wonderful for the skin: the molecular properties are similar to human epidermal sebum.
